Life has sure been different (but fun) in the last month with our little boy! I still can't believe that I have a boy!! He is just such a good little guy and so relaxed. He sleeps most of the day away but he sure grunts and sighs alot while he does it! (Which sometimes gets a little annoying when I'm trying to sleep at night . . .) For the first week or two he had his days and nights pretty mixed up which made for one tired mommy. It's sure something to get used to staying up late with a newborn and then having to get up early with the older one. Scott stayed home from work for the first week though which was a HUGE help with the adjustment. He and Kalia had a lot of really great bonding time while I tried to figure out what to do with my newborn :) One thing I love about Oliver is that he hardly ever cries. When he needs a diaper or is hungry he fusses for a while and if he's being ignored he cries a bit, but that's really all. Even when he gets up at night he only cries if I'm taking too long to change his diaper before feeding him. I'm not trying to make everything sound perfect, but I do feel like God is blessing me with an amazing experience with learning how to parent two children. Kalia has been great for the most part, but I do notice a little attitude if I haven't had tons of free time for her in a day. It's been fun watching the two of them interact with eachother though. It's so interesting how with Kalia I just thought of her how she was as a newborn, but now with Oliver being my second, I constantly find myself wondering what his personality will be like and how he will look as he gets bigger! It's not that I'm not enjoying the newborn stage, it's just that after seeing my first little baby grow up and change in front of my eyes, it makes me wonder how the second one will. And which traits that he has as a newborn will stay with him. Well I guess that's all for now - I'll try to post again soon of some pictures with "mom and dad"!

What a precious little boy! Kalia looks like an amazing big sister, what a blessing your two little ones are! Hope you're getting some sleep:)
he's such a laid back little dude!! LOVE him! I totally know what you mean about wondering what they will grow up to be like...it's fun to have a newborn and i LOVED that stage, but you just KNOW how much more there is to come, as you have already experienced with the 1st kid :) SO fun! Love you lots! Hopefully we'll see you tomorrow!
Oh Oliver is such a precious little boy! I'm so happy for you that things are going so well. I often wonder the same things of Noah...what he'll be like as he grows, especially having a 7 year old that grew up in like a day!! :)
