Sleepover with Isabelle

A couple of weekends ago was the annual Regal Cup four-on-four hockey tournament. We invited friends of ours from college, Andrea and Graydon, to come out and stay at my Mom and Dad's so Graydon could play some hockey and we could all spend some time together. This was Kalia's first sleepover with a friend and her and Isabelle (three months younger) had a great time playing together. It was fun watching them interact, and great to hang out with Andrea "watching" a few hockey games. I love it that our little girls are so close in age and interact so well with eachother. They're both pretty adorable too, I would say, but then I may be a little bit biased where my own daughter is concerned. We took mom and baby pictures a couple of months ago along with Erica, and it's fun watching the changes that the girls go through and how just when Kalia is out of one stage, Isabelle follows behind, and then a little further yet is Annika. I love being new mommies at the same time as two of my great friends!

When little kids are babies the age gap in months some times seems to be a bigger deal. But the reality is that once they are 3 or 4 that doesn't really matter. Maybe Kalia and Squirt will be best friends even if they are a year apart. :0) I can't believe she's almost a year already!
