Birthday Girl

Today I looked back at my first few blog posts from after Kalia was born. I took some time to re-live the feelings in those first few moments that we were blessed with her in our lives.
The Joy,

The wonder,

and the tender moments

Sometimes I still can't believe that God blessed me with this beautiful pink bundle, it makes my heart swell with love and thankfulness. My little bundle is not a baby anymore. She is now 4 years old. FOUR! Where has the time gone? Life has sped by in a flurry of activity, a constant stream of chatter, countless hugs and kisses, and drama, drama drama from this 4 year old girl!

She is a girl who embraces life to the core. She loves deeply and feels deeply. Life is a challenge waiting to be unwrapped for these little hands.

We get our share of attitude . . .
But it is always forgotten and replaced with giggles, singing, and an amazing spark for life.This girl loves fun. She can laugh for what feels like hours over the silliest little thing, and is always on the lookout for a new adventure. Her smile and laugh are contagious, and it's impossible not to be drawn in by her bubbly personality.

You are still bringing true joy to this Mommy's life every day. I thank God for a girl like you who makes me want to be a better person and show His love to you. I am thankful for every memory that we have made with you in the last four years, and I can't wait to continue and see the world through your eyes as you experience life in this coming year!
