Okay, so I suppose suprises are fun, but it's driving me crazy! If I could peek I would. I'm so excited to meet this little person face to face and can't imagine loving the baby more than I already do.I would probably do way too much shopping anyway if I knew whether Peanut was a little boy or a little girl.

My New "Mommie" Haircut

After MUCH deliberating, I finally decided what to do with my hair in preperation for baby. I was worried about losing the secturity of a quick ponytail in time of need, but this new cut is so easy to handle and I'm so glad I did it! All I have to do it dry it and go - no fuss at all. It took me five minutes this morning as opposed to the lengthy hair drying I had to put up with when it was long.

8 Months Already?!

Wow, sometimes it feels like this whole pregnancy has gone by very fast! Although when I think about it, it does feel like a long time ago when Scott and I were keeping our "little" secret from all of our family and friends. There are so many different things I've gone through in the last 8 months. I never understood why people got tired of being pregnant until this last month hit. The combination of backaches, heartburn, discomfort at night, and the recent swelling that has made my fingers feel like little sausages makes me more excited than ever to have this baby! Don't get me wrong, the pregnancy is still fun. I like feeling the baby's every move - and watching it too! Little Peanut is so fiesty sometimes that I'm suprised that he or she doesn't burst right out! Speaking of which, that's another thing I can hardly wait for - to find out if this little one is a boy or a girl. I've tried to ask Peanut, but get no answer. Oh well, I guess I'll find out soon enough. Now if we could just settle on our names . . .

Just for Sherri!

Hey you asked for it, so I took a picture wearing sweats without doing my hair and makeup first - yikes! I Hope this satisfies you!

What a cutie! Look at those little pigtails - and what a cute shirt she's wearing!
The Waldner family had a bridal shower for my cousin Kimberley this weekend. She and her husband Alex are missionaries in Columbia got married last summer, so we finally got to celebrate with them because they came out for two months. It was a fun evening.

Happy (belated) Birthday Hailey!

Here's a picture of me and Amber's baby Hailey. It was her first birthday on March 1st and I just gave her present to her last week! Hmm . . . do we notice a theme here? I am late with all of my posts. Hopefully that isn't too much of a foreshadow about my timing!

7 (and a half) month picture!

Okay, so I know this is very late, but at least I'm still posting it, right?

Hiccups!

I was just saying last week Thursday that I had never felt little Peanut's hiccups yet and then Friday night I got to for the first time! It was such a strange feeling - kind of like someone flitzing me over and over again from the inside (but it didn't hurt). I love all these different stages of pregnancy. And it never bothers me when the baby is up at night kicking - I love being reminded of how actively my baby is growing inside of me! At Bible study on Thursday night, Amber read in one of her books that Peanut should be almost to full birth length already! All that's left is for my little one to pack on a couple more pounds. I can't believe how close the end feels. Last night we had our last prenatal class and the health nurse sent home a bag of "goodies" for each of us. We learned all about taking care of our babies after bringing them home from the hospital. I can't believe I'm soon going to be a mom!! Yikes!
