Brandi Needs . . .

I got the idea from a friend's blog to type in your name into the google search bar with the word "needs" after it, and posting the first ten search results. I wasn't actually going to post it until I saw the last one and laughed my butt off!! Okay here goes:

1) Brandi needs a home

2) Brandi needs to be in an environment where she feels emotionally and physically safe.

3) Brandi needs your positive vibes Community Support.

4) Brandi needs to disappear into the woodwork again.

5) Brandi needs to get thyself to a counselor, clergyperson or at least someone who will tell her honestly that she herself has created this mess!

6) Brandi needs more women’s division balls

7) Brandi needs to set up and be a woman about her wrong

8) Brandi needs caregivers who understand the developmental issues

9) Brandi needs to get over herself

10) Brandi needs to be kept away from Scott

Finally - Birthday Pictures!!

My little girl turned one on April 27th, and wow did we party! It was like she knew it was her birthday - she woke up happy and full of energy. These are some of the pictures of the party she had with her friends in the morning. 1 year old!!
Opening gifts

Hailey helped open presents because all Kalia cared about was escaping to go and play with the other kids!

Party Decorations

I had the BEST time planning Kalia's birthday party (though I was a crazy women in the days leading up to it trying to get everything ready). I made it a very colorful, springy flower theme and went all out with every idea I could think of! It was so fun seeing her enjoy herself on her special day, so all of the time spent was worth it. She had her "close friends" party in the morning and her family party in the afternoon, and got lots of great gifts and had fun playing and showing off her cute self. I love you Kalia! Happy Birthday - yay you're one!!!

Partying with the Family

In the evening on Kalia's birthday, we had a family BBQ with Scott's family and my own. Kalia was such a good little birthday girl and wanted to party all night long!

Special Birthday Time with Mom and Dad

a bit blurry, but I still thought it was cute

The next morning, Scott and I gave Kalia her present from us after a yummy breakfast of pancakes. She almost had as much fun unwrapping and playing with the ribbon as she did with her present!!
