Belated Two Month Pictures

Okay, so I did take these when she was 2 months old even though I'm only posting them when she's almost three months. I can't believe how grown up she looks already in some of these pictures - where's my little baby?!

Enjoying her mobile - I've really been trying to get her used to her crib. For naps during the day she's been sleeping well in her own bed, but she just wakes up a little scared and screams out - literally - it's way more like a scream than like a cry and it breaks my heart. She looks so tiny and alone in that big crib. I wish I could just hold her all the time! I have to get myself used tp the crib almost as much as she does. She is getting bigger though so I know she'll have to make the move soon anyway. I guess I just have trouble trusting in my moniter instead of hearing every ittle peep right in my room at night.

Takes an afternoon snooze . . .

. . . and wakes up very happy!

Cristina's High School Graduation

I was a bit nervous about this day, because I was doing Cristina's hair and makeup, Mom's hair, and Raquel's makeup as well as getting myself ready to sing at the graduation banquet (with a sound check that day) and present an award to one of my students at the graduation ceremony!! Now, as if that isn't a busy enough day as it was, throw a two month old baby into the mix that doesn't take a bottle yet, and has been crying a lot due to thrush!!! I could hardly sleep the night before due to panic, but I gave it over to God, and asked family and friends to pray for me as well. Things were a little rushed in the morning with taking time out for Kalia now and then, but we all got ready on time. Jenna babysat Kalia during the banquet upstairs in the church nursery so I could go feed her or check up from time to time, and during the grad I had to go out to feed her once, but luckily we made it back in time for me to get on stage and present! Whew what a day. Kalia was super, but she sure had to crash (and by that I mean a LOT of crying) at the end of the busy day - which means we didn't get around to going to any of the grad parties we were invited too, but that was ok because I was tired too. Cristina looked so beautiful, and won 5 awards as well as a scholarship! We are so proud of her! She had a fun time on her special day. Congratulations Cristina (and Raquel - you looked great too!) I'll post some of the family pictures later on, but I'll have to get them from Mom first.

Some Miscellaneous Pics

Mom bought this little bunny towel from pottery barn. I love towel pictures with those little hoods. What a cute little bum! I couldn't resist snapping this pic!

Long Time Coming!

Wow I can't believe it's been almost a month since I dissapeared off of the blogging planet! I've been so busy with my little girl that this is the first real chance I've had to spend time on the computer. Plus we've spent a bunch of time away at the cabin. I'll try to post more in the near future, but for now, here are just a few pics of some of the things we've been up to:

Mom and Jenna's birthday supper at the Pavillion in the Park. Afterward, we went out for a walk to get ice cream.
Crissi's grad party. We threw it for her the week before grad to make the big day more relaxing for her. We invited tons of friends and family and it was a great time. She looked beautiful!!
