Yay! They're Home!

inspecting the pink ukalalee that was one of her tropical presents! How fun!

Kalia had a fun time at the airport waiting for Mom, Dad, and Crissi's plane to come in from Hawaii last Saturday. They were gone for 2 weeks and we missed them so much!! She walked down the little runway with all the blue lights in the observation room, and even watched the plane taxi around! I guess she liked the bright lights. Scott came with us to the airport too, but he left for his hockey game once we saw that the flight was slightly delayed. Good thing too, because, though their luggage was the first out (and we snagged it for them) they were by far the last, because of waiting for the wheelchair to come out. It was so fun seeing Kalia's reaction to seeing them after so long. For the first 5 seconds or so she was like "what?!?" and then she broke out into this huge excited smile and squealed with delight.

This was me using my creative energy to put on a yummy spread for their supper that night. (Scott and Dad made wings for themselves too after the hockey game)

So Happy to Have Daddy Home!

At Scott's hockey game Saturday night, he took Kalia and gave her a little cruise on the ice after. She wasn't sure what to think about the slippery ice when she tried walking herself though!!

Kalia was psyched to see Scott when he got home from MDS! She couldn't stop looking at him all evening and smiling, giggling, and squealing (and did not want to go to bed that night either!) The novelty still hasn't worn off! It seems she loves being with him more than ever and always
gets very excited to sit with him or play with him. Scott loved seeing her too, he just wanted to play and play (until it kicked in that he hadn't really slept the whole way home even though they drove through the night - then he wanted to sleep and sleep, ha ha)

Miscellanious Pics

Aloha Nana, Papa and Auntie Crissi! We miss you! Kalia is creating trouble all over your house already as she crawls and climbs wherever she pleases! Yesterday night at bedtime she even started climbing the stairs! (Only got up one and a half) What a little monkey! Anyways, I hope these few pics make you miss us too from out in the tropics as we freeze our buts off at home! (hee hee)
