Giving Kalia solid foods over the last few months has been an adventure! It's fun watching her try new things (she has a very distict "what did you put in my mouth?!" face) and seeing whether she likes them or not. Cereal is a big hit - the first time we gave it to her, she squealed with excitement and ate it like a pro. It was as if she'd been waiting her whole life for that moment, and she giggled with almost every bite, and even helped with the spoon. We did enter a spitting out phase later on though, which is her way of showing off I think! She cries when I give her peaches, which is weird because I thought babies loved fruit! Her favorites are carrots and sweet potatoes. What a joy she is!
I like the colors of your high chair. I think that's what we want for our stroller. Looking forward to catching up with you again soon. It's been too long!
Jesus loving, piano teaching, jewelry making wife and mother of 3 (#4 on the way!). I love gardening, baking, and creating. Can't live without family, friends, or a good book to read. This is my little space to share the happenings of our busy lives. Trying to remember to slow down and enjoy the little things more often, and open my eyes to the things God is trying to teach me in whatever I do. "Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances" 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18a

Hope you had a good holidays.
Funny how babies all like different things. Jacob hated sweet potato and loved peaches and squash.
