Party Time and LOTS of pictures (in no particular order)

Last week Monday (April 21st) Mom, Jenna, and Cristina helped me put on a fabulous Disney Princess birthday party for Kalia! I had the party plans all laid out before I got sick, and then thought I'd have to cancel and stick with a few simpler ideas, but they got really excited about helping out and offered to make me feel like a guest at the party so I wouldn't get tired out from all of the work. It was so fun - I still got to plan and give my input, but they helped out SO much! One thing I was determined to do was decorate the cake. Mom baked it and got the icing ready for me though. Jenna made this great castle fort for all of the girls to play in, and they all came in pretty party dresses to match the princess theme! It was just like a little dress up play date. Kalia did very well with a couple of little meltdowns about sharing her toys, but overall the girls all seemed to have a really fun time. They all sat around the little tables for a long time having a tea party, and played lots of dollies! It was fun for me to sit back and visit with the mom's too.

Here you can see the whole "castle" in the background

Lounging out on her Princess towel - ready for the beach!!

Who needs a broom when there are toddlers around to eat up the mess?

Peeking through the window of the castle that Auntie Jenna made for the party - the girls had lots of fun peeking and running in and out of there! Kalia's "Cinderella Castle" cake - which took two days to make and put together!!

Hailey giggled as Kalia dug into her cake with her fingers

playing in the "castle" with all of the dollies, and much to their excitement they got to watch a big frog leaping in the rain!
Kalia was so pleased to go and hand out each girl's princess balloon when they arrived!
All of the princesses having a tea party (L-R: Isabelle, Hailey, Holly, Kalia, Jayda) Kalia was excited to dive into her treat bag which was actually a little princess treasure chest that all of the girls got packed with treats, tiaras, and princess bubble bath. They also got a helium balloon to take home, as well as the disney princess plates that we ate lunch on!
the "after-party" with her aunties!

I'm so glad you were able to have the party that you had originally wanted. How awesome that you have such an amazing mom & sisters to do that with you. It was a lot of fun!! I LOVE the picture of Kalia digging into the cake and Hailey covering her mouth :) Great shot! I showed it to Hailey and she said "I did that because I thought it was very funny".

I love how Kalia always acts like a big sister towards Jayda~ I love that our girls are close! K is going to be SUCH a great big sister!!!!!! I can't wait to see her in action with her little sister or brother!
