Baby Chicks!

Scott's Dad has been "collecting" all sorts of birds, ducks, and chickens over this last year, and after Christmas he started incubating the eggs to raise his own birds. Kalia is fascinated by the babies, but a little scared of them too. She gives them a "pat pat" and then when they move, she jumps back, giggles, and says "oops!" She keeps telling us that she's going to hold one, but when we get there she's a little too nervous. The closest she's come is holding one together with daddy. It's funny seeing how she reacts to different animals and she always knows now that when we go to grandpa's we'll get to see his chicks.

Kalia looks so big now. I like the pictures of the chicks. Now I want to hatch some too.

My name is Kiah.

Ah that looks like fun. Perhaps she will grow up loving animals.
Sorry you are all sick at that end too.

Oh, that's so fun! I also love the cottage pictures! I especially like Kalia's braids! I can't believe she sits still enough for you to braid her hair - way to go, Kalia! :)
